Past Fly-In Info
The Northwest Antique Airplane Club has concluded the NWAAC 2016 Fly-in at the Scappoose Airport with a full day of activities and nearly one hundred degree weather. The weather was a definite factor for the day in our attendance and the airplanes and automobile turnout. Once again this year we were in partnership with the Highway 30 Cruisers Car Club that showed their beautiful automobiles on the grass behind the clubhouse. The two clubs seem to compliment each other with their beautiful autos and the many airplanes that stop by. This was a one day event with a Spaghetti Feed on Friday night, an NWAAC prepared breakfast on Saturday morning and a catered banquet on Saturday to announce the winners of the categories. Banquets are always fun with good food and the sharing of aviation related stories seemed to float above the crowd.
The Northwest Antique Airplane Club wishes to thank all of our members and volunteers that made this event possible and certainly it takes a lot of work to get this done. THANKS to all of you it was a great event. More photos will appear on our NWAAC Photos Post on Cover Page when they are readied.
